FAQs For Online Ordering

What is ClickEats?

Our aim is to help restaurants do better business using the internet, which means helping customers like you find their information easily and make transactions online so you get what you want easily, quickly, and securely.

More specifically, we provide different internet website options; from custom designed website to a web page on our portal. In addition, we provide tools that restaurants can use that give their customers more online conveniences, such as online ordering, reservation requests, gift card sales, and newsletter opt-in.

How does Online Ordering work?

Ordering is a 6-step process.
1. Decide if you want the order for pick-up or delivery, for 'ASAP' or in the future.
2. Order things from the menu.
3. Login using an existing account, or sign up for a free account.
4. Enter final order information, such as contact phone number.
5. Verify or change the order information.
6. Place your order.
Once you place your order, the restaurant is emailed and faxed with your order information. You will receive an email confirmation. In the near future, the restaurant will also receive an phone call to confirm same-day orders.

If your order is for the future, you will receive a reminder email 60 minutes before your order is due. In addition, you can opt in for text message reminders sent 60 minutes before the order is due. You may be charged for text messages by your carrier if you select this option.

For many reasons:
1. Everything is in writing, so both you and the restaurant can be sure of exactly what you ordered.
2. No language barrier.
3. You're never put on hold.
4. You can take your time and not feel rushed by the person on the phone.
5. Save time by ordering ahead.

Why do I have to register to make an order?

We want to make sure that both you and the restaurant have a copy of your order, and that it does not get accidentally deleted for whatever reason. We also believe having an account will make future orders quicker for you, since you will not have to fill out all of the required information each time you make an order.

When do I pay?

How do you calculate the driving distance?

We use the Google API Goecoder to lookup the driving distance.

Why is your driving distance sometimes different than what I see in Google Maps?

Google apparently uses slightly different data sources for Google Maps and for Google API Geocoder. This may cause the distances to be slightly different. We have no control over this and can only display what Google API gives us.
